Speech-Language Pathologist - Outpatient (Per Diem)

Mozaic Senior Life, a USA TODAY Top Workplace for 2025 and 2026, is hiring a per diem Speech-Language Pathologist for its Outpatient Rehabilitation team. You'll evaluate and treat outpatient clients to help them reach their highest level of communication, swallowing and cognitive function, working as part of an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate patients and build individualized treatment plans for dysfunction caused by injury, surgery, or acute and chronic disease
• Provide evidence-based speech therapy
• Educate patients, caregivers and other clinicians on treatment strategies and safety
• Document treatment and billable time accurately and on time
• Take part in department meetings, in-services, quality improvement and continuing education

Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• At least one year of experience in a long-term care or acute care setting
• Current Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist license and CCC-SLP
• Valid driver's license
• Compassionate and ethical, and able to work with older adults and families in difficult situations

**Schedule:** Per diem, with flexibility to meet department and patient needs.
