Maintenance Mechanic

Mozaic Senior Life is hiring a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Mechanic for its Facilities team. You'll keep the campus buildings, equipment, grounds and mechanical systems safe, comfortable and running well for residents, visitors and staff. It's a good fit for someone who takes pride in their work, can troubleshoot problems independently, and adapts well to changing priorities. Reports to the Facilities Supervisor and the Director of Facility Services.

Responsibilities:
• Inspect buildings, equipment, systems and grounds for maintenance needs and safety concerns
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs on buildings, machinery, fixtures and facility systems
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine the right repair
• Complete work orders safely, efficiently and on time
• Help with emergencies, including fire and life-safety procedures, and take on-call shifts
• Clear snow and ice in winter, including operating plows, spreaders and other equipment

Qualifications:
• Skilled in hands-on maintenance and mechanical repair
• Able to prioritize multiple requests and meet deadlines
• Works well independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills
• Willing to learn new equipment and procedures
• Able to lift, climb ladders, bend, and work outdoors in all weather

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (37.5 hours/week)
