Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Bank Headquarters Entry Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist employees, visitors, and customers with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working as part of a team that reflects Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of banking offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with the protection of personnel, visitors, and property.
Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer Service Experience is preferred.
Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
