Job description
Key responsibilities:
Federal market entry
Build CoreView's Federal brand positioning us as a trusted Microsoft 365 governance, security and resilience vendor for civilian and defense agencies.
Enhance and run the 90-day FedRAMP launch in the field: event presence, agency briefings, executive roundtables and follow-up programs that turn the announcement into meetings.
Market outcomes tied to Federal mandates (Zero Trust, identity security, operational resilience, audit readiness), not product features.
Build the Federal contact base, targeting 100+ decision-makers across 20+ agencies.
Work with Federal sales to create agency-specific account plans and campaigns.
Federal ecosystem and partners
Co-market with Microsoft Federal and with systems integrators such as Accenture Federal, Deloitte, Booz Allen, Leidos, SAIC and CGI Federal.
Run joint programs through identified GTM partners and other contract vehicles and resellers (for example Softchoice, CDW, TD Synnex).
Deliver necessary Federal partner campaigns, including joint webinars and events, to drive partner-sourced pipeline.
SLED expansion and brand
Defend and grow our SLED leadership through state CIO, county and local government communities.
Partner with customer marketing and account teams on expansion plays across existing SLED customers: CoreView ONE Enterprise, Tenant Resilience, Access Reviews, Control for SharePoint and Identity Resilience.
Turn SLED success stories into references, speaking slots and peer-led content.
Thought leadership and category
Secure speaking slots, panels and media opportunities for CoreView experts at public sector events.
Brief content teams on public sector campaigns, use cases and agency security guides, and localize them for Federal and SLED audiences.
Run public sector media programs (for example eRepublic, GovExec) for awareness and audience growth.
Pipeline and operations
Work with SDRs and sales on pre-event targeting, meeting booking and post-event follow-up.
Own campaign tracking, lead-scan quality, budget and ROI reporting in our CRM and marketing automation tools.
Report monthly to the VP Demand on pipeline, meetings, spend and lessons learned.
FY27 public sector campaign program
You will own the FY27 public sector campaign calendar end to end: identify the right campaigns and events, attend and run them, and maximize the pipeline and brand return from each one.
What you will do
Identify: review the current portfolio, decide what to keep, grow or drop within SLED, and add the Federal campaigns we are missing today (events such as ACT-IAC, GovExec and AFCEA events, plus Microsoft Federal and partner events).
Plan: set goals, budget and sales resource to support each campaign; secure sponsorships, PR activity, booths and speaking slots at events, and follow up cadence.
Pre-campaigns: build target-account lists with sales and SDRs and help to book meetings before the doors open at events and once campaigns are underway.
On site (events): attend in person, lead the booth team, host dinners and roundtables, and make sure every lead scan carries qualifying notes.
Post-event: run fast follow-up with SDRs, track MQLs, meetings and pipeline, and report ROI within 30 days.
The portfolio you will inherit (FY26 Q3–Q4, US Public)
What you bring (required)
Based in the United States (remote) and eligible to work in the US without sponsorship. Candidates based in D.C.area are preferred (Hybrid).
7+ years in B2B technology marketing, with at least 5 years focused on the US public sector.
Hands-on experience in both Federal and SLED markets, with a clear understanding of how each one buys.
A proven record of building pipeline from field marketing, backed by numbers you can share (pipeline, meetings, ROI).
A proven record of building brand awareness for a vendor entering or growing in government.
Deep experience running public sector events, from sponsorship negotiation to booth, speaking and hospitality programs.
Existing relationships across government event organizers, associations and media (for example NASCIO, NASTD, GovRAMP, eRepublic, ACT-IAC, AFCEA, GovExec).
Experience co-marketing with Microsoft, systems integrators, distributors and contract vehicles such as Carahsoft.
Strong working knowledge of CRM and marketing automation tools (such as Salesforce and HubSpot) for campaign tracking and attribution.
Willingness to travel up to 40%.
Nice to have
Experience launching a product after FedRAMP or GovRAMP authorization.
Background in cybersecurity, identity or Microsoft 365 ecosystem marketing.
Familiarity with Zero Trust, CISA guidance and Federal cybersecurity mandates.
Experience as the first public sector marketer at a growth-stage SaaS company.
Based in the Washington, DC metro area.
