Cook

Touro University's College of Dental Medicine campus in Albuquerque seeks a Cook to prepare and serve food for the University cafeteria under the Cafeteria Manager, following kosher dietary guidelines and keeping the kitchen clean and safe.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook food, and help establish recipes, menus and portion standards
• Prep ingredients, set up service areas and serve students, faculty and staff
• Follow kosher guidelines, food safety and sanitation procedures
• Store, label, date and rotate food, and minimize waste
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas, and keep required logs
• Pick up ingredients and supplies locally as needed

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 3+ years of cooking experience in a restaurant, cafeteria or institutional kitchen
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety and sanitation
• Able to stand for long periods and lift 25 lbs

**Schedule:** Monday–Thursday 6:00 am–3:00 pm and Friday 6:00 am–12:00 pm.
