BBYO Passport Leadership Staff 2027

BBYO Passport is hiring Leadership Staff for its summer 2027 teen travel programs. Staff travel with groups of Jewish teens, providing caring, high-level participant support and helping with safety, wellbeing, community-building and trip programming. Trip locations vary, and staff should be comfortable with international travel.

Responsibilities:
• Contact participants before the trip to make personal connections and answer questions
• Enforce safety guidelines and support teens' medical and mental wellbeing, including on travel days and group flights
• Serve as a Jewish adult role model and keep the group respectful and inclusive
• Help with daily logistics such as rooming, dietary needs and programming
• Help facilitate Shabbat services, Shabbat programming and Havdalah
• Join all trip activities, including hiking, camping, museums and volunteer projects
• Send group photos and bi-weekly updates for families

Requirements:
• Attend in-person staff training June 4–6, plus virtual trainings before departure
• Complete Mandated Reporter and Youth Mental Health First Aid certification
