Maintenance Technician

Jewish Collaborative Services (JCS) seeks a Maintenance Technician for its multifamily and assisted living communities in Warwick, RI. The technician completes preventative and routine service requests, including apartment turns, and provides exceptional service to residents. The role reports to the Facilities Director and site leadership.

Responsibilities:
• Perform facility maintenance across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and HVAC systems
• Create and follow a preventative maintenance schedule, coordinating outside vendors as needed
• Manage resident service requests through the work order system, from hanging pictures and assembling furniture to apartment turns
• Inspect equipment and systems and report issues to leadership
• Follow OSHA safety regulations and maintain supply inventory
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and keep entrances clear in inclement weather

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of multifamily or residential maintenance experience, including boilers and elevators
• Skills for routine apartment repairs, including plumbing, electrical, appliance and carpentry
• Caring, helpful attitude and a team player
• Able to climb ladders, lift 50 pounds, and push or pull 300 pounds

**Pay:** $20.00-$22.00 per hour
