Director of Major Gifts, Northeast

Sharsheret, which supports women and families facing breast and ovarian cancer and marks 25 years of impact, seeks a Director of Major Gifts for the Northeast. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer and working closely with the CEO, this role manages and grows Sharsheret's major gifts program and a portfolio of donors and prospects. The position carries an annual major gifts goal of at least $600,000. Hybrid, in the Teaneck, NJ office 2 days per week.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and grow the Jewel Circle Program across the Northeast, including renewals, upgrades and stewardship
• Develop individualized strategies to cultivate, solicit, renew and upgrade major donors
• Identify new prospects through referrals, networks, event participants and other relationships
• Prepare board members and senior leaders for donor meetings and ensure timely follow-up
• Maintain accurate donor records and report on pipeline, renewals and revenue projections

Qualifications:
• Track record of cultivating, soliciting and closing significant gifts
• Experience managing or growing a major donor program or giving society preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and comfort making direct asks
• Highly organized, self-directed and goal-oriented
• Donor database experience required; DonorPerfect a plus

Salary: $125,000-$160,000, with benefits commensurate with experience
