Community School Director

Commonpoint, which serves more than 125,000 people a year across 90+ program sites, is hiring a Community School Director in its High School & College Success division. The Director runs Commonpoint's Community Schools programming at Queens Academy High School, on site five days a week, managing a team that coordinates student and family support services, programming and partnerships.

Responsibilities:
• Manage a team delivering high-quality services to students and meet contractual expectations
• Partner with school leadership, CBO partners and the Office of Community Schools to raise enrollment and attendance and improve school culture
• Serve as a thought partner to the school leadership team and attend cabinet and SLT meetings
• Lead case conferencing to identify students facing barriers and plan interventions
• Track and report on impact, manage multiple budgets, and host two community forums a year

Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Education, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or Administration
• 3+ years working with adolescents in an urban setting
• Experience running outcomes-based youth programs and fiscal management of grants
• Proficiency in Spanish or Mandarin; LMSW preferred, SIFI a plus
• Flexibility for some evenings and weekends
