Northeast Outreach Coordinator

Sharsheret, a fast-growing national breast and ovarian cancer organization serving Jewish women and families, seeks a full-time Outreach Coordinator to lead educational and outreach programming across the Northeast. This hybrid role works from the Teaneck, NJ office 2 days per week and reports to the Chief National Engagement Officer.

Responsibilities:
• Expand educational offerings and resources for Jewish communities
• Build partnerships with campus students, medical and mental health professionals, synagogues, and Jewish communal organizations
• Cultivate donors and volunteers; recruit and support volunteer committees
• Represent Sharsheret at events and local conferences
• Prepare program materials, handle information requests, and manage program data entry

Qualifications:
• 2-5 years of experience in a nonprofit or Jewish organization; advanced degree preferred
• Passion for cancer-related issues and Jewish communal service
• Strong community organizing, writing, public speaking, and organizational skills
• Available for evening and weekend events and occasional travel; personal vehicle required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Salary: $60,000-$65,000, plus an extensive benefits package
