Job description
The Katz JCC, part of the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey's family of agencies, is hiring Group Exercise Instructors to lead safe, enthusiastic, professional fitness classes with personalized attention for every member.
**Schedule:**
Early mornings, 4:45–8:30 AM, and weekends.
Responsibilities:
• Start and end every class on time, teaching proper technique and form
• Keep the studio safe and give members a high level of customer service
• Find substitute instructors for your own scheduled classes when needed
• Attend staff meetings and trainings, and help with special events (Zumbathon, Spinathon, Yogathon)
• Know emergency procedures, and report safety hazards or broken equipment
• Promote JCC events and programs in class announcements, and record class attendance
Qualifications:
• At least 6 months of experience as a group fitness instructor
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification
• Current ACE, AFAA, AAAI, Zumba, Body Pump, or Schwinn Spin certification relevant to the class taught
