Preschool Afternoons Teacher

The Oshman Family JCC's Leslie Family Preschool is hiring an afternoon Preschool Teacher. You will create and implement programs in a licensed, Reggio-inspired, play-based, constructivist preschool serving children from 18 months to 5 years, with low ratios, a team of 60 educators and specialists, and a campus with gardens, an orchard, and four play yards.

**Schedule:**
Weekdays, 10:00am–6:00pm or 12:00pm–6:00pm.

Qualifications:
• Available weekday afternoons as above
• 12 or more ECE units (AA/BA in ECE or a related field and a teacher permit preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience in a licensed child care or educational setting
• Knowledge of the Constructivist/Reggio Emilia approach desirable
• Warm, nurturing, flexible, and a strong team player
• Comfortable communicating with parents
• Willing to change diapers and help children change clothes when needed
• Comparable experience plus willingness to enroll in ECE classes will be considered

Compensation:
$26–$29 per hour.
