Social Media Strategist

Scheck Hillel Community School, a large Orthodox Jewish community school in North Miami Beach, Florida, is hiring an experienced full-time Social Media Strategist. The Strategist leads the development and execution of high-quality social content, capturing on-campus and off-campus events and turning them into click-worthy content that resonates with the school's audiences.

Responsibilities:
• Capture key events and everyday school life in dynamic photos and video
• Build monthly and quarterly coverage and production calendars around Jewish and national holidays, school milestones, and community events
• Develop and execute a social strategy to grow brand awareness and engagement across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more
• Create and edit posts, reels, and short-form video, staying current on trends
• Ensure equitable coverage across divisions, departments, and grade levels
• Monitor performance and comments, report on results, and escalate concerns to the Marketing Manager
• Organize the photo and video asset library and create family-facing event albums

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience, ideally in social media or content production
• Photo and video editing experience; proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, Hootsuite, Canva, and project tools such as Monday.com
• Proactive, creative self-starter who thrives on a collaborative team
• Calm and professional under time-sensitive and last-minute requests
• A fundamental understanding of Jewish traditions, culture, and practices
• Onsite role with occasional irregular, on-call, weekend, and after-hours work
