Photographer, School Break Camps

JCC Greater Boston is looking for a Photographer to capture the energy and fun of its School Break Camps in Newton and package it for marketing materials and newsletters. Campers in grades K-5 enjoy drama, art, science, sports, swimming, and more, and the photographer documents it all while working as part of the camp team.

**Camp Dates:**
• Veterans Day: November 11
• December Break: December 28-31
• MLK Day: January 18
• February Break: February 15-19
• April & Passover Break: April 19, 20, and 26-30

Candidates do not need to commit to all dates. Staff are scheduled by the day, in 8-hour shifts between 7:45am and 6pm.

Responsibilities:
• Photograph camp activities, special events, and everyday moments for marketing and newsletters
• Partner with counselors and camp leadership to support a safe, positive camper experience
• Support camp-wide events and help with transitions, drop-off/pick-up, and lunch as needed

Qualifications:
• 1+ year of photography experience; a portfolio or examples of work preferred
• College coursework or equivalent experience in marketing, photography, or media preferred
• Genuine enjoyment of working with children, strong teamwork skills, and a positive attitude
• Able to work in a busy, noisy environment and in varied weather, and lift 30-40 lbs

**Pay:** $18 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
