Job description

Established in 2012, Faropoint is a pure play RE fund manager focusing on the last mile industrial sector. Having acquired more than 500 warehouses to date, it is the most active aggregator of warehouses in the US in the past five years. Our platform is built to harness the sector’s fragmentation, operating through 7 regional offices with 120+ employees in vertically integrated teams enhanced by proprietary AI-driven tools, while benefiting from compelling fundamentals like constrained supply growth, reshoring, and e-commerce tailwinds.

We are looking for a Director of Treasury Operations to oversee all treasury operational functions supporting Faropoint’s cash management, investment activities, and financial risk management. Reporting to the Head of Finance Operations, the Director leads global cash positioning and liquidity, manages banking relationships, owns payment controls and fraud prevention, and modernizes our treasury technology, including the Kyriba platform. You will bring strong judgment, operational rigor, and a collaborative approach to optimize the company’s financial resources and support business objectives as the Treasury function grows. This role is hybrid, based in Hoboken, NJ, with at least four days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily global cash positioning, liquidity management, and cash forecasting across multiple entities, optimizing credit line usage and building dashboards to track available funds
Design, implement, and optimize treasury systems, including Kyriba, integrated with ERP and payment workflows
Serve as primary contact for commercial banks: manage account structures, fees, and portal configurations, lead account openings and closings, negotiate service fees, and oversee bank fee billbacks across entities
Establish and maintain treasury policies, payment controls, and fraud prevention processes, and serve as an approver in the wire transfer workflow to ensure adherence to internal controls
Partner with Accounting, the Fund team, FP&A, and Operations on cash management, and build and develop the Treasury organization as it grows
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
5-10+ years of treasury or cash management experience - Real estate and/or construction industry experience is strongly preferred
Proven experience with cash management, forecasting, and banking relationships
Knowledge of corporate banking systems, fraud prevention, cash positioning, and multi-entity cash flows
Experience managing bank account lifecycle events and multi-entity fee billback processes
Familiarity with wire approval workflows and dual-control payment authorization
Hands-on experience with Kyriba or other treasury software is a plus
Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines
Proven ability to translate complex financial data into concise recommendations for executive leadership
Personal and professional integrity of the highest order required
