Director of Development

About the role
Nevut is a community-first organization that supports IDF Lone Soldiers after their service through community, well-being, career support, and referrals to outside providers. We’re seeking a Director of Development to lead and grow our fundraising in a relationship-driven role.

What the job requires

* Regular presence at the Mahwah office
* In-person donor meetings and community events

What you’ll do

* Build and deepen relationships with current and prospective donors
* Open new doors and expand Nevut’s donor network
* Cultivate, solicit, and close major gifts
* Serve as a public face of Nevut with donors, foundations, and community leaders

What we’re looking for

* Experience in fundraising, business development, or revenue generation
* Strong connections in the Tristate philanthropic community
* Polished, persuasive, organized, and data-driven
* Passion for mission-driven work; a connection to the Lone Soldier experience and Israeli military culture is a strong plus
