Program Coordinator at Jewish Family Children's Services of the Suncoast

JFCS of the Suncoast is hiring a Program Coordinator for OMAP, its veterans program, in Fort Myers. The Coordinator supervises the OMAP team, makes sure SSVF guidelines are followed, and works with the OMAP Director so that veterans receive the highest quality of service. Responsibilities: • Supervise Case Managers, Intake Specialists, Health Care Navigators, Housing Specialists and Outreach and Diversion staff • Coordinate and deliver staff training, and keep productivity in line with JFCS, CARF and SSVF standards • Review client records in internal and HMIS systems, and submit HMIS, VA and financial-assistance data on time • Ensure staff follow HIPAA and confidentiality policies • Recruit and coordinate volunteers and mentors, and lead special projects such as the annual Veteran Stand Downs • Build relationships with federal, state and community organizations serving veterans and people who are homeless • Carry a case management load as needed Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in human services or equivalent experience preferred; veterans preferred • 2+ years working directly with low-income individuals or families, ideally people who are homeless or veterans • 2+ years of supervisory or administrative experience • Strong communication, time management and Microsoft Office skills • Ability to drive, with reliable access to a vehicle, and to lift up to 30 pounds
