Senior Controller

We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Senior Controller to provide strategic oversight of all accounting and financial operations across our construction and real estate development entities. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional who demonstrates exceptional ownership, a proactive work ethic, and a steadfast commitment to operational excellence and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive oversight of all accounting functions, financial reporting, and fiscal operations.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team.

Manage complex tax structures while facilitating both internal and external audit processes.

Maintain full responsibility for the accounts payable (AP) lifecycle and departmental oversight.

Monitor and analyze financial reporting, cash flow projections, and construction job costing to ensure project profitability and organizational health.

Requirements

Experience: 5–10+ years of progressive accounting or controller experience.

Industry Expertise: Extensive background specifically within construction and real estate development accounting is mandatory.

Technical Knowledge: Deep proficiency in audit procedures, corporate taxation, and complex tax structures.

Operational Skills: Expert-level understanding of financial reporting, cash flow management, and construction job costing methodologies.

Leadership: A proven track record of successfully managing and scaling accounting teams.

Personal Attributes: Must be extremely detail-oriented , highly organized, and an accountable, hands-on leader who takes initiative to drive results.
