Senior Principal Software Engineer

Required Skills and Education

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and a minimum of 8+ years work experience.
Background in embedded and/or application software development in C++
Foundation in Object-Oriented design and implementation principles
Experience performing software testing, validation, and verification activities
Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and guide engineering teams
Has experience with Agile Development
Has experience with source code control systems, such as Git.
Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong presentation skills.
Must be eligible for a US DoD security clearance

Preferred Skills and Education

Experience with signal processing techniques and filtering algorithms
Knowledge of Linux-based development and deployment environments
Experience with DevSecOps
Experience with Containers including Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with scripting languages and development of automation
Experience developing Defense, Aerospace, Military or Mission-Critical systems
Experience integrating software across distributed, networked, embedded or real-time computing environments
Experience working directly with Government or Defense Industry customers
