Senior Controller Construction & Real Estate Development

We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Senior Controller to provide strategic oversight of all accounting and financial operations across our construction and real estate development entities. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oversight of all accounting functions, financial reporting, and fiscal operations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team.
• Manage complex tax structures while facilitating both internal and external audit processes.
• Maintain full responsibility for the accounts payable (AP) lifecycle and departmental oversight.
• Monitor and analyze financial reporting, cash flow projections, and construction job costing to ensure project profitability and organizational health.

Requirements

• Experience: 5–10+ years of progressive accounting or controller experience.
• Industry Expertise: Extensive background specifically within construction and real estate development accounting is mandatory.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep proficiency in audit procedures, corporate taxation, and complex tax structures.
• Operational Skills: Expert-level understanding of financial reporting, cash flow management, and construction job costing methodologies.
• Leadership: A proven track record of successfully managing and scaling accounting teams.
• Personal Attributes: Must be extremely detail-oriented, highly organized, and an accountable, hands-on leader who takes initiative to drive results.
