Job Responsibilities
Participate in insuring that supported worker’s rights and dignity are protected, and that they have maximum opportunities to fully participate as a member of the landscape/policing department.
Participate in the development and implementation of Person-Centered Plans as needed and electronically document as required.

While on flagging duty, the employee is solely responsible for the safety of all workers and the supervisor on the platform or in the track area.
Help set the work pace for workers, priority always being safety.
Will be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required due to work schedule, (including snow removal) or training schedule.
When flagging duties are not required, the employee assists the crew as a Lead Worker
Attend all meetings and training courses as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
Required
Experience in the field of Policing (outdoor custodial) is helpful. Requires good physical coordination, (i.e. stooping, standing for periods of time) and stamina for working in different weather conditions.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, push, pull, and carry a variety of tools, equipment, and supplies.
Will be required to work in all types of weather conditions year-round.
High school diploma or G.E.D. required
Must have reliable transportation
Must be at least 20 years of age
Preferred:
Experience working with people with developmental disabilities
Experience with outdoor work
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Some computer skills helpful.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills necessary.
Must work effectively within a team environment.
Working Conditions
Some evenings and weekends are required.
Some lifting up to 50 lbs.
Must be available by use of a personal cell phone.
All work is outdoors year-round. Must be willing and able to work in all weather conditions: heat, cold, rain, and snow.
Work locations are often in dangerous locations including parking lots, roadways, and commuter rail systems.
