Floor Technician

START IMMEDIATELY - Floor Technician with Janitorial Experience.

This position requires Night Shifts with a flexible schedule, including some weekends, varying shift times, and occasional long hours. Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of Floor Care. This role offers hands-on training and exposure to multiple floor care methods and systems, making it an excellent entry point into a long-term career as a professional floor technician.

START IMMEDIATELY - Schedule and Location: Fort Lauderdale-

Three (3) weeks per month from 6:00 PM to 3:30 AM (warehouse-based).

One (1) week per month (urgent care): 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM (warehouse-based).

Occasional open schedule shifts on weekends (Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM), depending on business needs.

What You'll Do:

Experience in waxing and stripping floors.
Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Perform all assigned tasks in a professional manner.
Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors, tile, and carpets.
Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
Always observe safety precautions.
Ability to operate floor care equipment safely and effectively.
Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Reports on safety hazards as appropriate.
Adhere to dress code such wearing company uniform.
Report to work in a timely manner.
Always represent the organization in a positive and professional manner.
Comply with all company policies and standard procedures.
Communicate the mission, ethics and goals of our organization.
What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of floor technician experience.
Flexible availability (days, weekends, on call).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented and meticulous.
Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
Must always maintain a strong awareness of safety and proactive leadership approach.
Must be able to pass a Background Check.
Must be able to pass Drug Test.
Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.
Physical Requirements:

Must be in good physical condition and able to comfortably perform extended periods of walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting,
Ability to lift, carry, and move 25 pounds or more on a regular basis.
Capable of working on your feet for long periods and performing repetitive physical tasks.
