Job description

How you'll make impact

As Principal Executive Recruiter, you’ll help Airwallex scale its leadership bench in support of sustained global growth. You’ll partner with senior executives and leaders across GTM, G&A, Product, Engineering and Design to scope leadership roles, align on candidate profiles, and build focused executive search strategies.

Own executive searches end to end, from sourcing and candidate engagement through offer acceptance.

Drive strategic hiring alignment with senior executives by shaping candidate profiles and search strategies.

Build trusted relationships with candidates and deliver a consistently positive executive candidate experience.

Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, bringing market insight, strong judgment and influence to critical hiring decisions.

Improve executive recruiting practices as Airwallex continues to grow globally.

You’ll work from our New York office three days a week.

What we're looking for

Essentials

10+ years of recruitment experience, including hiring senior-level talent at VP or C-level in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment.

Strong ability to ramp up on new domains in a short period of time.

A proven track record of successfully recruiting and closing candidates across various domains.

Strong collaboration and influencing skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

Demonstrated proficiency hiring for Product, Engineering and Design (PED) roles.

You'll thrive here if

You're comfortable owning the roadmap yourself.

You own the outcome and you don't wait for permission to fix what's broken.

You're comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and moving quickly anyway.

You communicate clearly and directly across cultures, and you're thoughtful about how context shifts meaning across borders.

You can advocate hard for a position, then fully support the team's direction once a call is made.
