Security Officer

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial metal management location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, processing areas, vehicle access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
