Job description
How We Operate
Be a barrel. Full autonomy. Own things end to end, take on scope without being asked, no permission required to operate outside your core role.
Insane urgency. We drive everything forward as fast as possible.
Reason from first principles. Challenge every assumption. Zero analogy thinking, no egos, the best idea wins.
Love of the game. The frontier of AI is the most interesting problem of our time. We put in long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward.
Build something that actually matters. If you're going to spend your time, spend it on something that matters to the world.
Role Scope
Execute the daily cycle count reconciliation for five data center sites and warehouses from the WMS count export, following the documented method step for step: dedupe the scans, net shortages against recorded transactions, and publish each site's variance tracker before the morning deadline, seven days a week on a rotation.
Post the WMS corrections each variance calls for (quantity adjustments with reason codes, location transfers, part alias fixes) within the authority limits set by the Program Manager, Inventory Control, and log the site lead's root cause and resolution on every row until it closes.
Request same-day recounts and bin checks through the established site contacts, confirm the results land in the system, and verify on the next count that the correction held.
Triage every below-minimum and zero-on-hand alert the day it fires against the alert decision tree, enter and maintain min/max values and exception fixes as directed, and escalate anything the rules do not cover to the Program Manager the same day.
Prepare the system-pulled, cross-checked inputs for the daily customer count report and the weekly accuracy review, and work the record-integrity backlog (17,000+ serialized assets without a location, duplicate bin records, 3PL discrepancy lists) against the plan and dates the Program Manager sets.
What We're Looking For
The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.
You've done cycle counts and variance reconciliation as a daily job in a WMS, and you can show a tracker or log you kept current for months.
You work a documented procedure the same way every day, and when a step does not fit the situation you flag it and take action.
You find the wrong row with lookups, pivots, dedupe and formula checks, and you've caught your own errors before anyone else saw them.
You've posted adjustments and transfers in an inventory system with reason codes, and you know which ones you're allowed to post yourself and which ones need a sign-off.
You've asked a warehouse team you don't work beside to recount a bin the same day, and you closed the loop when the result came back.
You've kept a seven-day cadence on a rotation, working remotely from the operation you support, and your Sunday output looks the same as your Tuesday output.
Bonus: WMS systems (SAP EWM, NetSuite, Manhattan, DCIM platforms). Data center hardware (optics, trays, network switches, GPU servers). Spreadsheet automation or query languages (Apps Script, SQL). Barcode or RFID scanning workflows.
