Job Description
Job Overview
The Competitive Intelligence (CI) Program Manager keeps iCIMS one step ahead of the competition. You’ll run the day-to-day engine of our CI program — collecting, synthesizing, and distributing competitive and market intelligence so Sales, Product, and Marketing can make faster, sharper decisions.
You’ll build that engine AI-first. We expect you to use generative AI, agents, and automation to monitor the market continuously, turn raw signals into insight in hours instead of weeks, and scale CI well beyond what one person could do manually. You’ll work closely with Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, Labs, Decision Support, and senior leadership, and your work will inform pricing, product strategy, sales tactics, corporate development, and marketing campaigns.
This is a high-visibility role for a curious, tech-forward self-starter who doesn’t wait to be asked — someone who spots a competitor’s move first, knows what it means for ICIMS, and gets the answer to the right people before the question comes up.
About Us
ICIMS is a leading enterprise hiring platform that combines the scale and reliability of enterprise software with the transformative power of AI. Thousands of organizations across more than 200 countries and territories trust ICIMS to find and hire the people who shape their future and drive their business forward. Powered by insights from billions of hiring interactions, continuous AI innovation, and a highly extensible platform, ICIMS helps organizations turn talent acquisition into a competitive advantage. For more than 25 years, ICIMS has delivered end-to-end hiring solutions that improve recruiting efficiency, reduce costs and create exceptional candidate experiences.
ICIMS helps solve one of the biggest challenges businesses face today: building a workforce that can adapt, scale, and perform in an increasingly competitive and unpredictable talent market. We uniquely do that by combining enterprise-grade hiring technology, AI-powered insights and automation, and connected talent experiences to help organizations improve hiring outcomes while driving measurable impact.
Responsibilities
Own the ongoing collection, analysis, and synthesis of intelligence on ICIMS’ tier 1 and tier 2 competitors, including product offerings, go-to-market strategies, sales motions, pricing models, and key differentiators
Build and run AI-powered market monitoring; design agents and automated workflows that track competitor news, product releases, pricing, reviews, hiring signals, and earnings, and surface what matters without manual digging
Proactively flag emerging threats and trends, bringing a point of view on what they mean for ICIMS and a recommended response, not just a report of what happened
Publish a recurring competitive digest and real-time alerts for leadership and the field, automated wherever possible
Run win/loss analysis in partnership with Product Marketing, Product Management, and third-party research vendors, using AI to mine interviews, call recordings, and deal data for the patterns and root causes that move win rates
Manage day-to-day vendor relationships that support our CI and win/loss programs, ensuring deliverables meet business needs
Maintain internal competitive lists for Win Against, Saves, and Takeaways on a monthly basis
Partner with Decision Support to deliver accurate, timely CI reporting, and continuously improve its relevance and usability
Keep competitive profiles, battlecards, feature comparisons, and other enablement assets current in the CI portal.
Draft competitor positioning documents aligned with ICIMS’ overall messaging and value proposition
Partner with Sales Enablement and Product Marketing to turn competitive insights into sales plays, objection handling, and field training
Present competitive findings in team meetings, field enablement sessions, and executive briefings
Continuously test new AI tools and techniques, and share what works so the broader marketing team gets faster too
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in competitive intelligence, market intelligence, product marketing, or a related strategic analysis role (B2B SaaS strongly preferred)
Hands-on, demonstrable experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) and building agents or automated workflows
A track record of proactively spotting insights and acting on them without being asked
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex, messy information into clear, actionable takeaways
Sharp writer and confident presenter who can tailor a message for a seller or an executive
Tech-forward and quick to learn new platforms, including CI tools, CRM, conversation intelligence, and BI/reporting tools
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and influence without direct authority
Experience with win/loss analysis, Clozd, or other third-party research vendors a plus
Familiarity with the HR tech or talent acquisition landscape a plus
