Job description

This is a people job as much as a writing job. You’ll spend real time interviewing colleagues, finding out what they actually think, and turning that into posts that sound like them rather than like you.

Responsibilities
Work with 5 to 8 people across the company on their personal content, from first conversation to published post.
Interview colleagues regularly to surface opinions, stories and expertise worth publishing. Most people don’t know what’s interesting about their own work.
Ghostwrite, edit or coach depending on what each person needs and wants.
Learn each person’s voice well enough that their audience can’t tell the difference.
Help each person define who they’re writing for. A compliance lead and a sales lead are not addressing the same room.
Keep a calendar running across multiple people so nobody goes quiet for a month.
Track what works for each person individually and feed that back to them.
Monitor what’s happening in AI, web data, developer tools and infrastructure, and bring people timely angles they’re positioned to speak on.
Protect people from publishing things that are boring, wrong or off-brand for them.
Requirements
2 to 4 years writing professionally. Ghostwriting, journalism, editorial or content marketing all count.
You can write in a voice that isn’t yours. We’ll ask for samples and we’ll ask which parts were someone else’s words.
You like people. This role runs on getting colleagues to tell you what they really think, which takes more patience than writing does.
You read LinkedIn and X closely enough to know what’s working this month, not what worked two years ago.
Comfortable using AI tools for research and drafting, and able to tell when the output sounds like a machine.
Genuinely interested in AI, developer tools or web infrastructure. You don’t need to be an expert, but you need to find it interesting enough to ask good questions.
Organized and self-directed across several people’s schedules without being chased.
Comfortable working async in a remote team across time zones.
