Job description

About the Role

Handel Architects' New York City office is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated, and collaborative Marketing Coordinator with 4+ years of experience. We’re looking for someone who enjoys creating thoughtful, polished work and brings a mix of graphic design, writing, organization, and project management skills, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Working closely with partners, principals, and design teams, you’ll help develop engaging, visually compelling materials that support the firm’s business development goals.

This role offers a mix of creative work, project coordination, and collaboration across teams. You’ll manage projects from start to finish, juggle a variety of priorities, and help keep things moving while maintaining a high standard of work. We value someone who takes initiative, thinks ahead, and enjoys finding ways to make processes and projects better. This job isn't about ROIs and KPIs; it's about being part of a collaborative team that helps bring great ideas to life, tells the story of our work, and showcases the people and projects behind the spaces we create.

Our marketing team works collaboratively rather than in silos, and everyone has a hand in a wide range of initiatives. Working as part of a small team, you’ll have the opportunity to explore different areas of the firm’s marketing efforts, take ownership of projects, and contribute to the team in a variety of ways.

What You Will Do

Proposal and Marketing Production: Lead the development and production of proposals, presentations, and qualifications packages
Pursuit Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with leadership and marketing team to support pursuit planning, proposal positioning, win strategies, and compelling project storytelling
Writing and Content Development: Develop and edit clear, engaging content that communicates Handel's expertise, differentiators, project experience, and value to prospective clients.
Graphic Design and Visual Communication: Create effective, visually compelling presentations and marketing materials that translate complex information into accessible and persuasive narratives.
Project and Deadline Management: Independently manage multiple projects and competing priorities, anticipate upcoming needs, communicate progress, and deliver high-quality work within tight and frequently changing deadlines.
Quality Control and Attention to Detail: Review all deliverables for accuracy, consistency, formatting, grammar, visual quality, and adherence to brand standards before submission.
Knowledge and Resource Management: Maintain and update marketing resources, including resumes, project profiles, case studies, photography, and project libraries, ensuring information is current, accurate, and readily accessible.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with marketing colleagues, principals, designers, and project teams to gather information, coordinate deliverables, incorporate feedback, and keep projects moving efficiently.
Process Improvement and Innovation: Identify opportunities to improve marketing workflows, strengthen the quality of deliverables, and incorporate new tools and technologies into daily work.
