Job description
The Role
Aquarian Holdings is seeking a highly motivated Client Services Analyst to join the firm’s inaugural Client Services team. As an early‑career analyst, you will support the team in building, scaling, and maintaining high‑quality client service coverage across the Aquarian ecosystem, which includes insurance companies and other institutional investors. You will work closely with the Vice President of Client Services and cross‑functional teams to ensure clients receive timely, accurate, and thoughtful support.
This role is an excellent opportunity to develop foundational skills in institutional asset management, client reporting, and portfolio oversight within a growing and dynamic organization.
Responsibilities
Support client inquiries by gathering information, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring accurate, timely responses regarding portfolios, performance, and compliance topics.
Assist in preparing portfolio reporting packages, client presentations, and customized analyses, ensuring materials are accurate, polished, and client‑ready.
Help monitor investment portfolios to ensure compliance with client‑specific investment guidelines, internal risk limits, and regulatory constraints. Collaborate with Operations, Legal, Compliance, and investment teams to investigate and resolve any issues.
Support regulatory reporting activities, assisting in data preparation, documentation, and accuracy checks for required external filings.
Contribute to process improvements, including data management enhancements, workflow optimization, and implementation of best practices across the Client Services function.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless end‑to‑end client service delivery and consistent client experience across the firm.
Assist in the creation and ongoing maintenance of institutional marketing materials, pitch content, and data requests for prospective and existing clients.
Ideal Profile & Characteristics
Internship experience or up to 1–2 years of experience in asset management, investment banking, consulting, or a related client‑facing or analytical role.
Interest in insurance asset management, institutional investing, and the intersection of client service and investment strategy.
Strong interest in strategic initiatives, business development, and contributing to the build‑out of a growing team.
Foundational understanding of credit or fixed‑income concepts and enthusiasm for learning the operational and analytical workflows associated with them.
Highly organized, process‑oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with evolving needs.
Strong quantitative skills and attention to detail when working with investment data and client portfolios.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and present information clearly.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, take ownership of tasks, and work both independently and collaboratively.
Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to support broader initiatives as the Client Services function scales.
