Job description
Location: New York
Compensation: $350,000 base + commission
About the role
Your relationships should open doors that a listing search cannot.
A business backed by a large, well-capitalized company is looking for a New York real estate professional who can source substantial distressed-property acquisitions through an established industry network. The focus is residential opportunities, including distressed residential assets and commercial properties with a credible path to residential conversion.
This is a relationship-led acquisitions role with the backing to pursue significant transactions and commission upside tied to results.
What you'll do
- Bring in acquisition opportunities through existing New York real estate relationships.
- Identify distressed assets and conversion opportunities with residential potential.
- Evaluate the opportunity, commercial terms, and practical path to a transaction with the investment team.
- Build trust with counterparties and move promising opportunities toward execution.
- Maintain a strong pipeline based on direct market access and informed judgment.
Who we're looking for
Someone with deep, active New York real estate connections and evidence that those relationships can produce real opportunities. You understand distressed situations, see residential potential in nonresidential assets, and know how to work with people to get a deal moving.
We are looking for established access and commercial judgment, not someone whose sourcing approach starts and ends with online submissions or AI-generated leads. No fixed years-of-experience requirement: the strength of your network and your track record are what count.
