Companion / Personal Care Aide

Position Overview

A family is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient Companion / Personal Care Aide to provide part-time assistance and companionship.

The ideal candidate is caring, responsible, and comfortable assisting with daily activities, light household tasks, and personal care needs. The position requires someone who can communicate in Arabic and French and provide a supportive, respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and attentive support throughout the day.

• Assist with daily routines and personal care needs.

• Help with restroom visits and toileting assistance as needed.

• Prepare and serve lunch.

• Wash dishes and clean up after meals.

• Assist with light household tasks related to daily care.

• Provide friendly conversation and social interaction.

• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.

• Communicate with family members regarding daily needs or concerns.

• Encourage comfort, independence, and dignity while providing assistance.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in Arabic and French required.

• Previous experience as a companion, caregiver, home health aide, or personal care aide preferred.

• Patient, compassionate, respectful, and dependable.

• Comfortable assisting with toileting and personal care.

• Ability to prepare simple meals and perform light housekeeping tasks.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Trustworthy, punctual, and attentive to individual needs.

• Ability to follow instructions and maintain a consistent weekly schedule.
