Audit Accountant Monroe, NY (open to hybrid) $100,000 – $150,000 Position Overview We are seeking a strong audit professional with public accounting experience to join a growing financial advisory firm in Monroe, NY. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, requiring strong understanding on how to run audits — including workpapers, analytics, and testing. This is a technical role for someone with strong audit experience. Key Responsibilities Execute financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations Prepare and review audit workpapers with accuracy and organization Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures Analyze financial data and identify inconsistencies or risk areas Ensure compliance with GAAP and audit standards Collaborate with internal team members to move engagements forward efficiently Support additional accounting or project-based work during slower audit periods Requirements Public accounting experience Direct audit execution experience Experience preparing and working through audit workpapers Solid understanding of audit testing and analytics Knowledge of GAAP and standard audit procedures Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple engagements Email resumes to: [email protected]
