Security Officer

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Credential Audit in Bronx, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures at a healthcare location.
Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify identification as required, and direct guests to appropriate areas in accordance with facility policies.
Monitor access to the facility, maintain visitor logs and related documentation, and communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
Maintain awareness of front entrance activity and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related incidents to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:

At least six months of security-related experience is required.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
