A family in Brooklyn is seeking a warm, responsible, and dependable Mother's Helper / Infant Caregiver to assist with caring for their 3-month-old baby while the mother is working.

The ideal candidate is patient, nurturing, and experienced with infants. This position focuses on providing attentive, loving care while ensuring the baby's safety, comfort, and daily needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for a 3-month-old infant.

• Prepare and feed bottles according to the baby's feeding schedule.

• Change diapers and maintain proper infant hygiene.

• Engage the baby in age-appropriate play, interaction, and developmental activities.

• Follow the baby's established feeding and nap routines.

• Soothe and comfort the baby as needed.

• Put the baby down for naps following safe sleep practices.

• Maintain a clean and organized environment in areas used for infant care.

• Communicate with the mother regarding the baby's needs, routines, and activities.

• Ensure the baby's safety and well-being at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience caring for infants, particularly newborns or young babies, preferred.

• Patient, gentle, nurturing, and responsible.

• Comfortable with bottle feeding, diaper changes, and infant nap routines.

• Knowledge of basic infant safety and development.

• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to follow parental instructions and established routines.

• Infant CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
