Day Habilitation Program Assistant at JCC MetroWest

The Special Services Department at JCC MetroWest in West Orange, NJ is hiring a part-time Day Habilitation Program Assistant. You will work alongside a program leader with a group of adults with special needs, running activities that build their social and life skills. Paid training is required before starting. **Schedule:** Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 9:00 am–3:00 pm Responsibilities: • Help run all program activities and manage the group to encourage positive peer interaction • Model appropriate interactions and help participants engage in activities • Escort participants around the building and supervise for safety • Report all illnesses or injuries to the Group Leader • Complete daily documentation for assigned participants in Formstack • Attend staff meetings and required annual training Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED, and at least 21 years old • Must pass safety checks including drug testing, fingerprinting, CARI, Central Registry, and Medicaid and NJ Treasury database checks **Pay:** $20.63/hour To Apply: Email a cover letter and resume to Marisa Cohen, Director of Special Services, at [email protected].
