Assistant Teacher

About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in delivering a positive, engaging classroom experience for preschool-age children in our Midwood location.

Responsibilities

1. Support the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson delivery
2. Assist in supervising, engaging, and redirecting students as needed
3. Help prepare learning materials and maintain an organized classroom
4. Support students' social, emotional, and academic development
5. Assist with daily routines including meals, rest time, and transitions
6. Communicate with the lead teacher regarding student needs and progress

Qualifications

1. Experience working with children preferred, but not required
2. Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
3. Patience, reliability, and a nurturing disposition
4. Willingness to learn and grow within an early childhood setting
