Job Summary:

Englewood Health seeks a Leadership Gift Coordinator to join the Development team. As a key member of the Foundation team responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individuals capable of making significant philanthropic investments in the organization, this position manages a portfolio of high-capacity and high-potential donors and prospects, developing meaningful relationships and personalized strategies that lead to leadership-level gifts.The role works closely with senior leadership, physicians, board members, volunteers, and colleagues across the Foundation to advance institutional priorities and achieve ambitious fundraising goals. The successful candidate will be a strategic relationship builder who can translate organizational priorities and donor interests into compelling philanthropic opportunities.The Leadership Gift Coordinator is responsible for managing a pool of 100-150 assigned gift prospects, systematically moving prospects through the donor cycle and successfully soliciting gifts of $1000 or more to support Englewood Hospital and Medical Center (EHMC). Responsible for meeting established visit and solicitation goals and for meeting established revenue goals, establishing good working relationships with Administration, Directors and Managers of EHMC and affiliated physicians.This opportunity comes with very generous and comprehensive benefits including, medical, prescription, dental and vision care along with vacation, sick, and holiday time and retirement plan. Location: Englewood, NJ
Status: Full-Time (On-site position)
Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Job Qualifications:

Five (5) or more years’ experience in philanthropy, including major gifts and capital campaign experience, preferably in healthcare/medical industry or higher education
Previous experience with successful capital campaigns required
Overall campaign management and organization, including monitoring and maintaining pipelines, moves-management prospect tracking, and maintaining timelines;
Liaising with volunteers and creating volunteer task assignments
Identifying and researching prospects
Writing and coordinating campaign-related donor communication, including but not limited to pledge agreements, acknowledgments, stewardship letters, proposals and solicitations;
Monitoring and maintaining a master campaign calendar for cultivation, solicitation and volunteer committee activities;
Strong experience utilizing interpreting data metrics;
Strong management skills and superior organizational skills;
Strong working knowledge of nonprofit CRM software, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge highly preferred;
Superior written and verbal communication skills;
Excellent presentation skills required.
Demonstrated ability to navigate within a fast-paced, complex organization;
Self-motivation, positive energy, drive, stamina and enthusiasm are a must.
