Job description

ABOUT THE TEAM

AI agents are starting to transact: opening accounts, buying services, moving money on behalf of the businesses and people behind them. Every one of those transactions has a counterparty asking the question banks have always asked: who am I dealing with, and can I trust them? Today's identity infrastructure wasn't built to answer it at agent speed.

The Agentic Economy team is extending Baselayer's business graph into the trust layer for agentic commerce: verifiable credentials that bind an agent to the verified business and human behind it, a registry counterparties can query in real time, and verification APIs that plug into the networks, platforms, and protocols where agent transactions happen.

We run like a startup inside a startup: a small senior team led by our GM of Agentic Economy, working directly with payment networks, banks, wallet providers, and agent platforms. The category is being defined right now; the standards, seats, and infrastructure decisions of the next 18 months will be consequential for a decade.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to the CEO to be our CEO's right hand and force multiplier. You will own the CEO's calendar, inbox, travel, and priorities so they can spend their time on customers, investors, and the team, and you will make sure nothing important falls through the cracks.

This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the CEO. You will work with every function across the company, with our board and investors, and with executives at some of the largest financial institutions in the country. You will see how a fast-growing startup is built from the inside and be trusted with confidential information from day one.

This is not a role for someone who wants to wait for instructions. We are looking for someone who anticipates what's needed before it's asked, keeps a high bar for detail and discretion, and takes as much pride in a flawless board meeting as in a perfectly planned week.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Calendar & Time Management

Own the CEO's calendar end to end, prioritizing time against company goals and protecting focus time
Schedule and coordinate meetings across time zones with customers, investors, board members, candidates, and the team
Prepare the CEO for each day and week with agendas, briefing notes, and the context needed for every meeting
Triage the CEO's inbox, flag what needs attention, and draft or respond on their behalf where appropriate
Plan and book domestic travel, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and detailed itineraries
Coordinate customer visits, conferences, and industry events the CEO attends or hosts
Plan company offsites, team events, and celebrations in partnership with Operations

Executive & Board Support

Coordinate board meetings and investor updates, including scheduling, materials, logistics, and follow-ups
Track action items and commitments from leadership meetings and keep owners accountable to deadlines
Prepare documents, presentations, and briefs for internal and external meetings
Handle confidential and sensitive information with complete discretion

Office Management

Run day-to-day office operations: supplies, snacks, mail, deliveries, and keeping the space organized and welcoming
Serve as the main contact for building management, office vendors, and service providers, and handle contracts and renewals
Greet and host visitors, customers, and candidates, and get conference rooms ready for meetings
Coordinate new hire setup for the in-office experience, including desks, access badges, and first-day logistics, in partnership with People and IT
Plan and run team lunches, celebrations, and in-office events that keep the team connected

Special Projects & Operations

Own special projects for the CEO from start to finish, from research to vendor coordination to execution
Process the CEO's expenses and help manage vendors and personal-business logistics
Identify ways to improve how the CEO and leadership team work, and put better systems in place

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally supporting a CEO, founder, or C-level executive
Expert in Google Workspace (Calendar, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and comfortable picking up new tools quickly
Exceptional organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage many moving pieces at once
Excellent written and verbal communication, including drafting on behalf of an executive
Proven judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities change quickly

WHAT SETS YOU APART

Experience at a venture-backed startup, ideally during a period of fast growth
Experience supporting board meetings, fundraising, or investor relations
Exposure to fintech, financial services, or B2B SaaS
Comfort with AI tools and automation to work faster and smarter
You anticipate needs before they are raised and solve problems before they reach the CEO
You are calm under pressure, low ego, and happy to roll up your sleeves on any task
You want to be foundational and help build something that lasts
