Job description
Responsibilities
YouTube
Own YouTube as a performance channel, scaling customer acquisition while keeping CAC efficient
Build and execute a hypothesis-driven testing roadmap across creative concepts, audiences and placements
Partner closely with the internal creative team on brand creative concepts and with the influencer marketing team on UGC concepts: write briefs, give constructive feedback on drafts, and turn performance insights into learnings
Measure and report YouTube's true impact by reconciling platform reporting with our internal attribution models
Search + Shopping
Own Search and Shopping as performance channels, finding new opportunities and headroom to acquire more customers at an efficient CAC
Build and execute a testing roadmap across keywords, ad copy and landing pages, aligning search intent, messaging and landing experience by persona
Manage budgets, pacing and performance, flagging shifts early with a clear point of view on what's driving them
Stay ahead of how AI is changing search, partnering with Google on betas and new ad products to unlock growth
Emerging Channels
Own early-stage channels like OpenAI Ads and AppLovin, building the testing plan, setting success metrics and evaluating performance with the goal of scaling them into core channels and diversifying our media mix
Requirements
6+ years in performance marketing, with a strong focus on YouTube and Google Search/Shopping
Strong understanding of attribution and measurement methodologies, including the ability to reconcile discrepancies across different sources and make sound decisions when they conflict
Proven ability to diagnose performance issues, identify root causes and proactively share recommendations
Experience building dashboards in BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Omni) and using AI to automate reporting and surface insights faster
Preferred: experience with incrementality testing and building landing pages (Unbounce, Fermat, etc.)
