Job description

The Production Manager is a key member of Bandit’s Creative team, responsible for the day-to-day planning and execution of photo, video, content, and brand productions. You’ll work closely with the Creative team, and cross-functional partners to turn creative concepts into well-organized, well-executed productions. You’ll own the details—from crew and equipment to locations, schedules, travel, catering, call sheets, and on-set logistics—so the creative team can stay focused on the work.

Requirements
Manage the day-to-day logistics of creative productions across campaigns, product launches, editorial, social content, e-commerce, events, and other brand initiatives.
Support the Senior Producer in developing production plans, schedules, budgets, and production approaches.
Independently manage smaller-scale shoots and productions from pre-production through wrap and final delivery.
Coordinate photographers, directors, stylists, hair and makeup, talent, assistants, crew, vendors, locations, equipment, catering, transportation, and other production needs.
Source and coordinate freelancers and production partners, maintaining strong relationships with Bandit’s creative network.
Build and distribute call sheets, production schedules, crew lists, contact sheets, and other production documents.
Coordinate shoot logistics including location scouting, permits, equipment rentals, travel, accommodations, catering, transportation, and on-site needs.
Support casting and talent logistics, including schedules, releases, fittings, travel, and day-of coordination.
Track production budgets, estimates, invoices, purchase orders, and expenses in partnership with the Senior Producer and relevant internal teams.
Be a key point of contact for vendors and crew before and during productions.
Attend and help manage shoots on set, troubleshooting issues and keeping production moving.
Anticipate production needs and potential issues before they become problems.
Coordinate post-production logistics, including file delivery, selects, retouching, editing, color, and final asset delivery as needed.
Maintain organized production files, contacts, vendor information, releases, and other documentation.
Help develop and improve production processes, templates, and systems as Bandit’s creative operation scales.
Support multiple productions and creative projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For

4+ years of experience in creative production, photo/video production, production coordination, or a related field.
Experience producing photo and/or video shoots, ideally within fashion, apparel, sport, lifestyle, editorial, or consumer brands.
Strong understanding of the production process from pre-production through shoot day and post-production.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong attention to detail and an ability to keep track of many moving pieces at once.
Resourceful problem solver who stays calm and solutions-oriented when things inevitably change.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with creative teams, vendors, talent, and external partners.
Comfortable managing production budgets, estimates, invoices, and vendor relationships.
Existing relationships with photographers, crew, freelancers, rental houses, locations, and other production resources in New York and beyond.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as production schedules require.
Proficiency with production and project management tools and strong comfort with Google Workspace and spreadsheets.
Genuine interest in running, sport, fashion, photography, culture, and the world Bandit is building
