Manager of School Partnerships
Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey
Are you a passionate educator / advocate looking to help combat antisemitism?
The Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey seeks an experienced, relationship-driven K-12 education professional to build sustained partnerships with public schools and school districts, strengthening their ability to recognize, prevent and respond to antisemitism. The Manager will engage schools proactively, support Jewish students and families when concerns arise, and bring K-12 education expertise to the JCRC team. The Manager will also establish a frontline volunteer committee to help guide this work and engage lay leadership. Work will be prioritized to fit a 21-hour-per-week schedule.

Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey is a nonprofit philanthropic organization serving approximately 125,000 Jewish residents in Bergen and Hudson Counties and parts of Passaic County. Federation cares for those in need, strengthens Jewish identity and community, combats antisemitism, and supports Israel. Its Jewish Community Relations Committee (JCRC) is its public affairs and community relations arm.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of relevant K-12 education experience (including teaching, school or district administration, curriculum, counseling, student support or educational advocacy).

Knowledge of public school and district operations and contemporary antisemitism in K-12 educational settings.

Knowledge of Jewish life, values, identity, religious and cultural practices, Israel, and issues affecting Jewish students and families.

Demonstrated ability to build relationships with educators, administrators, families and community leaders.

Strong communication, organization, judgment and discretion.

Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Travel locally.

Occasional evening meetings or programs.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience within New Jersey’s K-12 system or working directly with school and district leadership.

Experience establishing, staffing or running volunteer committees and engaging lay leadership.

Advanced degree.

Experience in bias prevention, civil rights, or training delivery.
Compensation – $50,000
