Lead Dental Assistant

The Role:

We're looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to step into a leadership role at our practice. As Lead Dental Assistant , you'll be the go-to person for our dental assistant team, training new hires, optimizing how we work together, and making sure everything runs smoothly on the clinical floor.

What You'll Do:

Train and onboard new dental assistants, getting them up to speed on our systems, protocols, and patient care standards
Be a resource and mentor for dental assistants—answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance
Work alongside the team chairside when needed while keeping an eye on the bigger picture
Partner with the office manager and dentists to improve processes and patient experience
Maintain supply inventory and ensure treatment rooms are properly stocked and organized

What You Need:

Active NJ Dental X-Ray License
3-5 years of hands-on dental assisting experience
Previous leadership, training, or supervisory experience preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay calm when things get hectic
Denticon experience is a plus
