Job description

Summary

Delivers timely, high-quality people reporting and analysis, handling core tasks with limited direction. Owns recurring and ad hoc reporting, keeps People Analytics dashboards accurate and current, and prepares clean, compliant datasets for deeper analysis. Works in FBG's HRIS data environment (Snowflake and Oracle HCM) to catch data issues early and see them through to resolution. The work directly supports People team goals, partnering across the People team, IT, and the Data team.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Data Delivery

Complete and track ad hoc and state/regulatory reporting requests, working independently on routine reporting and meeting agreed timelines.
Pull and build reports in Oracle HCM (OTBI) to support People team requests
Maintain a clear log of recurring reports, owners, and delivery cadence
Complete analysis for People team metrics i.e. attrition, headcount trends, etc

Dashboards & Self-Serve Tools

Handle updates and maintenance for People Analytics dashboards, currently in Streamlit in Snowflake
Take on more advanced dashboard development under guidance from the People Analytics and DSEA teams

AI Enablement

Use approved AI tools such as Claude to speed up everyday work, including drafting queries, documenting processes, and summarizing findings
Explore new AI capabilities in Snowflake and the broader People tech stack, and share what you learn with the team
Build automations and process improvements using available AI tools, with guidance from the larger AI enablement and People Analytics team
Validate AI-generated output and follow FBG's AI use guidelines before sharing work

Data Preparation, Quality & Privacy

Prepare data for advanced analysis, including combining large datasets from multiple sources, cleaning and validating data
Follow FBG's people data privacy and security standards, including state and international compliance
Flag data discrepancies to People Analytics and People Operations, and track each issue through to resolution

Team Contribution & Communication

Share findings clearly and concisely with People team partners, including non-technical audiences
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and share them with the team
Support peers by sharing knowledge and helping stakeholders understand what the data shows

Qualifications

Required

3+ years of experience in an analytics role, ideally within a People team
Proficiency with SQL and experience working in a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake
Experience with a data visualization tools (Streamlit, Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
Familiarity with team member lifecycle metrics such as headcount, attrition, hiring, internal mobility, and engagement
Experience handling sensitive or confidential data with care and strong attention to detail
Ability to clearly define routine and non-routine data problems and explore solutions
Clear, concise communicator who can explain data to non-technical audiences
Experience balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, in partnership with your manager
Collaborative, proactive, and growth-minded

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or equivalent work experience
Experience with Python, R, or similar
Working knowledge of basic statistical concepts
Experience with HR systems such as Oracle HCM/OTBI, Greenhouse, Qualtrics, learning management systems (LMS), and performance management platforms
Comfort using AI tools such as Claude to speed up analysis, documentation, or reporting workflows
Familiarity with Git or version control
