About the job
We are looking for an AI Applied Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join a fast-moving team building agentic AI systems that automate mission-critical workflows for the world's top financial institutions. You'll own the full lifecycle of multi-agent systems—from design to deployment—while working directly with clients like Goldman Sachs, UBS, and MetLife at Auquan's SoHo office.

What will you be doing?

Building and shipping multi-agent AI workflows used in production by leading investment firms
Working directly on Auquan's core platform—architecting, implementing, and deploying scalable solutions
Going on-site with clients alongside forward-deployed engineers to scope requirements and present technical capabilities
Converting ambiguous, complex financial workflows into reusable platform primitives and components
Owning projects end-to-end with high autonomy in a fast-paced, Series A environment
Key Requirements
4+ years of software development experience with strong Python fundamentals
Demonstrated understanding of AI tooling, LLM-powered workflows, and building/prototyping with AI
Track record of owning projects end-to-end without heavy mentorship or process
Strong communication skills and client-ready presence—comfortable presenting to PE, VC, and asset management firms
Based in New York and able to work in-office in SoHo the majority of the week
