Job description

Role: Demand Generation Manager

Location: New York (In-office, Monday–Friday. Right to work in the US required)

Team: Marketing

Experience Required: Several years in B2B marketing, including in demand generation or growth marketing at a high-growth B2B SaaS or fintech startup. Hands-on HubSpot ownership required.

The role

Full-stack demand generation: plan, build, ship, and own the pipeline it creates.

You'll turn Capsa's story into pipeline across paid, owned, social, and in-person channels, putting us in front of the PE investors who should be buying and giving them a reason to take the meeting. As one of the first marketing hires, you'll work directly with the CEO and CRO on positioning and narrative, alongside Sales and a lean, senior marketing team.

There's no playbook to inherit. You'll build the systems, the cadence, and the channel mix from the ground up, then scale what works as the team and budget grow.

The opportunity

Own pipeline. Set sourced and influenced pipeline targets with leadership, build the plan to hit them, and report on ICP demos and stage conversion weekly.

Run HubSpot as the engine. Campaigns, workflows, lead scoring, attribution, nurture, and reporting, kept clean, connected to Sales, and trusted by the business.

Make paid media accountable. LinkedIn, Google, Meta, and retargeting. Audience, creative, budget, and optimisation, with every dollar measured against pipeline, not clicks.

Ship integrated campaigns. Launches, product moments, and always-on programmes taken from brief to live to results across email, landing pages, paid, social, and sales enablement.

Choose where we show up. Industry conferences, executive dinners, and private gatherings with PE investors in NYC, London, and beyond. Run end to end, so that every event turns into conversations.

Own capsa.ai content, conversion, SEO and AEO, page builds, and experimentation for our best salesperson.

Build a social presence PE professionals follow. Company and founder channels, LinkedIn first.

Design and write in-house. Ads, landing pages, event assets, and social creative in Figma, with copy that's clear, specific, and written for a sophisticated finance audience.

Manage agencies and tooling. Paid media, SEO, and event partners, plus a stack that lets a small team move like a big one.

Track record

Several years in B2B marketing. Including in demand generation at a high-growth B2B SaaS or fintech startup. Selling to financial services, private equity, or other sophisticated enterprise buyers is a strong plus.

A HubSpot power user. You've owned the marketing side yourself: workflows, lead scoring, attribution, and dashboards leadership actually uses.

Full-funnel, multi-channel experience. Paid, email, social, web, events, field, and sponsorships. You know which to lean on, and when.

Pipeline accountability. You've owned a pipeline number and can show how your programmes moved it.

Website and design chops. You've owned a company website in a CMS and you're comfortable producing polished creative in Figma.

An exceptional writer. Your portfolio speaks for itself, taking complex products and making them land with demanding audiences.

How you operate

Builder and doer. Equally comfortable setting the quarterly plan and shipping the landing page that afternoon.

Data-driven with taste. You optimise relentlessly against the numbers and know what good looks and sounds like.

Low ego, high ownership. The engine isn't built yet, and that's the appeal. Bias for action over committee.

Direct communicator. You make calls, write them down clearly, and push back when the data says you're right.

Genuinely curious about AI. Using it, breaking it, and embedding it into how marketing runs.
