IT Support Associate

Department: Administration
Locations: Lower East Side, NY & Dyker Heights, Brooklyn
Salary: $40,000–$60,000/year

Seeking an IT Support Associate to provide first-level technical support to staff and programs. This position will help users troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating when needed, while providing strong customer service and supporting the day-to-day operations of the IT department.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level IT support and troubleshoot user issues.

  • Install, maintain, and support Windows systems, software, and hardware.

  • Manage users and accounts through Active Directory and Office 365.

  • Participate in system upgrades, replacements, and other IT projects.

  • Provide IT support across various locations throughout the five boroughs.

  • Manage multiple tasks and projects while prioritizing work with limited supervision.

  • Support program initiatives as needed, including outside standard working hours.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate or College degree preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience supporting computer systems, with a strong background and interest in helpdesk support.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows PCs, Active Directory, and Office 365.

  • A+ certification is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude.

  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments with limited supervision.

  • Valid NYS Driver’s License and clean driving record required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and meet job performance standards.

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.

  • Must be able to communicate clearly by speaking, listening, and talking.
