NOW HIRING — Fundraiser
A women-led, mission-driven organization is looking for an accomplished, visionary, and well-connected fundraising professional to strengthen its visibility, expand its donor network, and help establish the organization more prominently within the community!
A remarkable opportunity for an experienced fundraiser who is ready to build upon an existing foundation of relationships and resources — and take the organization's reach and impact to the next level.
In-Person & In-Office | Full-Time | Flexibility Required for Events & Donor Meetings
What We're Looking For: Proven fundraising or nonprofit development experience required. Demonstrated history of successfully raising funds. Existing donor, community, and professional contacts and connections. Ability to organize and lead parlor meetings and other fundraising initiatives. Strong relationship-building, networking, and donor-cultivation skills. Visionary, strategic, and professionally polished demeanor. Smart, savvy, mature, and humble personality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to learn the organization's language, style, culture, and approach. Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with leadership. Must be locally based or able to attend frequent in-person meetings. Experience helping a growing organization increase its public visibility is a plus. Experience developing a fundraising strategy from the ground up is a bonus.
Key Responsibilities Include: Developing and executing a strategic fundraising plan. Introducing the organization and its mission to new donors and communities. Organizing an initial series of parlor meetings and other donor-engagement opportunities. Identifying, cultivating, and soliciting prospective donors. Leveraging existing contacts and connections to expand the organization's donor base. Building upon the relationships and fundraising resources already in place. Developing strong, long-term relationships with donors and community leaders. Representing the organization professionally at meetings, events, and networking opportunities. Communicating the organization's mission, work, and impact effectively. Generating ideas for increasing the organization's visibility and community presence. Working closely with the founder and leadership team. Tracking fundraising outreach, activity, commitments, and results.
