THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Senior Director of Brand Strategy and Storytelling to define how Cyera is understood, remembered, and chosen. You will report to the VP of Corporate Marketing and serve as a senior voice on the corporate marketing team.

You will set Cyera's brand strategy and positioning. You will lead the storytelling teams that bring it to life across Brand Content and Social. You will work with partners across marketing and creative to build a consequential brand that stands out and is clearly defined.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Brand strategy and positioning. Define and evolve Cyera's brand platform, including purpose, positioning, narrative, and voice. Build one platform-level narrative that brings Data Security, Agent Security, and Identity Security together. Work closely with Research teams to turn original data and insight into a point of view that belongs to Cyera. Make sure Cyera is distinct from every competitor.
Storytelling leadership and craft. Lead Cyera's storytelling teams across Brand Content and Social. Set the standards for how Cyera tells stories, including the principles, frameworks, and editorial bar that keep the work clear, human, and credible. Set the strategic direction for bringing stories to life in multiple formats across multiple mediums, with a clear voice and steady cadence for each. Test new formats and distribution tactics, then scale the ones that work.
Bringing the brand to life. Partner with Creative, Design Studio, Integrated Marketing and Communications to turn strategy into campaigns, launches, events, and executive communications. Provide strong briefs and direct feedback so the brand feels like one brand. Support senior leaders with narrative for keynotes, media, and key moments.
Brand activation framework. Build a scalable framework for activating the brand inside and outside the company. Give employees, partners, and functions the tools, guidelines, and training to carry the brand with consistency.
Measurement. Build a system for measuring brand health and showing how the brand drives business impact. Own the core brand health metrics, including awareness, consideration, recall, and sentiment. Draw on brand tracking, audience insight, and content performance to sharpen strategy. Work with Demand Gen and Analytics teams to measure the brand's effect on Cyera's business and pipeline.
Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

12 to 15 years of experience in brand strategy, brand marketing, content strategy, or editorial leadership. B2B technology or category-defining brand experience is a plus.
A record of defining a brand platform or positioning that changed how a company was seen and helped it win.
Exceptional storytelling craft. You can write, edit, and shape a narrative yourself and raise the work of others.
Experience leading content and social teams and setting standards they follow.
Experience turning research and data into a distinctive point of view.
Enterprise brand experience. You can make a serious, technical brand feel human and memorable while keeping credibility with CISOs and boards.
AI fluency. You know where AI tools fit in strategy and storytelling, and you use them to raise quality and speed together.
Strong stakeholder skills. You build trust across marketing, sales, product, research, and executive teams, and you hold a point of view while balancing competing priorities.
People leadership. You have hired, coached, and grown senior talent, and people want to do their best work for you.
