Job description
Role Overview
We're looking for a strategic, execution-oriented Partnership Development Manager to build and scale enablement for our Microsoft partnership and, over time, our broader partner ecosystem — working closely with Causaly's internal go-to-market teams to activate it.
The role sits at the intersection of life sciences expertise, AI/data platform positioning, Microsoft co-sell and marketplace motions, and scientific storytelling. You'll own the enablement programs that get Microsoft account executives, industry advisors, solution architects, and partner sellers — alongside Causaly's own commercial teams — fully fluent on our platform, use cases, competitive differentiation, and demo readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft & Partner Enablement
Own the Microsoft enablement program end to end (AEs, industry advisors, solution architects, technical specialists, partner sellers), and extend the model to other hyperscaler/ISV partners over time
Partner with Product and Product Marketing to build enablement content — pitch decks, battlecards, use case guides, solution briefs, demo narratives, FAQs — that accurately reflects product capabilities, scientific workflows, and competitive positioning
Run enablement workshops, training sessions, and office hours so partner teams can speak confidently to our AI capabilities, pharma workflows, customer pain points, and differentiation
Work directly with Microsoft alliance managers, partner development managers, and field leadership to drive territory-level readiness, co-sell registration, and pipeline activation
Internal Alignment & Co-Sell Readiness
Equip Causaly sales, CS, and solutions teams to co-sell effectively with Microsoft — product, workflows, personas, use case storytelling
Build onboarding and certification paths for partner sellers and for Causaly hires working the partner motion
Maintain a centralized enablement repository, and keep positioning and messaging consistent across internal and external commercial teams
Scientific & Industry Use Case Development
Translate complex scientific workflows into commercial narratives that resonate with enterprise pharma customers
Develop use case playbooks across drug discovery, translational research, competitive intelligence, clinical development, safety/regulatory, and medical affairs
Work with scientific SMEs and product teams to simplify technical concepts so field teams can clearly articulate customer value and ROI
GTM Readiness & Execution
Support launch readiness for new platform capabilities and joint Microsoft initiatives, including marketplace listings and co-branded campaigns
Establish repeatable co-sell motions with Microsoft — Azure Marketplace transactability, deal registration, joint account planning — then templatize for other partners
Track enablement adoption and effectiveness; gather field feedback and iterate
Support strategic industry events, workshops, and executive briefings as needed
Qualifications
Required
5+ years in partnership/channel enablement, alliances, partner solutions consulting, or partner GTM strategy
Hands-on experience enabling or co-selling with Microsoft — familiarity with the Microsoft field org, co-sell process, and Azure Marketplace (AWS/GCP experience a plus)
Strong understanding of life sciences and pharmaceutical workflows
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills; able to simplify complex scientific concepts for commercial audiences
Experience creating enablement content and running training programs
Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships
Self-starter with strong organizational and project management skills
Preferred
Background in life sciences, biomedical informatics, healthcare AI, or scientific SaaS
Experience supporting enterprise software or AI platform sales
Familiarity with Microsoft's co-sell process, partner incentive/MCEM motions, and Azure Marketplace listing requirements
Direct experience with pharmaceutical customers and scientific stakeholders
Exposure to knowledge graphs, LLMs, AI agents, or biomedical data platforms
Success Metrics
Growth in Microsoft-influenced pipeline, registered co-sell opportunities, and marketplace-transacted revenue
Readiness, certification, and engagement of Microsoft field and partner sellers
Faster onboarding/ramp time for new partner sellers and partner-facing hires
Consistent positioning and messaging across GTM teams; positive feedback from partner and internal sales stakeholders
