Job description
The Role
As a Marketing & Events Manager (6 month maternity leave replacement), you will lead LTX’s events portfolio across major industry conferences, sponsorships, dinner series, and networking-only opportunities. You will be responsible for prioritizing which events LTX participates in, defining the right level of investment, and managing execution from intake through post-event reporting.
You’ll maintain the event scoring and tiering model, oversee vendor and budget administration, coordinate creative production, manage team logistics, and ensure every event reflects LTX’s brand, standards, and business goals.
What You Will Be Doing
Own LTX’s event pipeline strategy, including evaluating and scoring prospective events based on brand awareness, audience relevance, competitive presence, and sales opportunity.
Maintain and improve the event tiering model across flagship sponsorships, target events, touchpoints, and scouting opportunities.
Lead end-to-end execution for major conferences, sponsorships, booths, and speaking opportunities, and run meetups and community events in LTX’s NYC office.
Coordinate contracts, budget approvals, purchase orders, invoice tracking, vendor payments, and leadership sign-off for event investments.
Source and manage production partners and creative production, including design briefs, photographers, lead-capture tools, insurance requirements, venue vendors, and other event suppliers and production needs.
Submit and manage event-related design requests in partnership with the design team.
Coordinate attendee lists, registrations, travel, lodging, delegate planning, Slack channels, and pre-event kickoff meetings.
Build event run-of-show plans and ensure teams are aligned on roles, timing, messaging, and day-of responsibilities.
Collect event feedback and compile post-event wrap-up reports with key learnings, outcomes, and recommendations.
Maintain shared event reference materials, including the scoring framework, branding checklist, design request template, and general event checklist.
Your Skills And Experience
4-6 years of experience managing B2B events, conferences, sponsorships, Meetups, or field marketing programs.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events at different stages of planning.
Comfort owning budgets, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, vendor relationships, and internal approvals.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate across marketing, sales, design, legal, leadership, and external partners.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through from planning through post-event reporting.
Able to prioritize event opportunities based on business impact, audience fit, brand value, and sales potential.
Proactive, independent, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.
Calm and resourceful under pressure, especially during live event execution.
